IT sales – Tick! Now moving on to something which is going to be more fun, just as many up’s & down’s but this time its my journey. Its going to be different but in many ways the same – how Irish a saying is that, well that’s just me!
Well it might be a blog to tell my story to friends back home so they know I’m alive or it might end up been a basis for a book who’s knows, stranger things have happened!! A good travel book you might say – no no, this is will be a story about coffee – my story about a hunt for the best bean and all that happens along the way!
Just so you know rpd….
- …failed English – twice, he cannot spell to save his life and his grammar & punctuation is appalling – don’t say I didn’t warn you!
- …would never ever run and walking gets you nowhere fast – so he’s at home on a bicycle
- …would happily spend the last of his paycheck putting 98ron petrol in his cars and has run out of petrol because he couldn’t find a Shell garage in time (twice!)
- …has a wicked scar and two pins on his right foot from a snowboarding accident but currently planning his first heli boarding trip
- …thinks espresso martini’s should be served two at a time
- …was a child survived only on cheese, brown bread and yogurt, today will try anything once but will gag if he smell’s celery cooking!
- …has tried Singapore rice noodles in every country he’s been too, apart from Italy – he couldn’t get past Pasta Pomodoro
- …would live in Richmond Park if he was allowed
- …does have an Irish accent but hide’s it if your a) the south side of a cow walking north b) male or c) doing a presentation
- …has only been pulled over by the cops twice! Once for doing 37mph in a 20 zone – he was on his road bike and sends his apologies to Lance Armstrong, it was the only name he could think of quickly! The second cannot be put into writing!
- …always treat’s himself to a birthday present each year – ’12 was kite surfing equipment, to date the wind has appeared three times!
- …was told Melbourne had the best coffee, he was on a plane three days later to find out
- …is sometimes superstitious because things seem to happen in two’s a lot!
- …can sleep pretty much anywhere and can sleep through an earthquake
- Lost two of everything 4mths; sun glasses/flip-flops/towel/SD cards/toothbrush
